Accelerated Learning
Strengthen your senses and mental capabilities to improve in every type of learning

'Accelerated Learning' is a general term for any technique or method which enables learning and in the same time 'accelerates' the process of learning. Accelerated Learning distinguishes that each of us has an individual preferred way of learning that suits us best. When you learn the techniques that exactly match your personal learning style, you will be learning in the way that is most natural for you. Because of this, because it is 'natural', it is easier; if it's easier, it is faster, accelerated. Accelerated Learning is basically a "learn how to learn" technique. Accelerated Learning is the generic name for Superlearning. Superlearning helps you make the most of another often overlooked ability - the power of your imagination.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. [ Albert Einstein ]

You can discover and unleash your inner senses and use your imagination for yourself and not against yourself. A good and trained imagination helps you learn anything better. It gives you mastery in imaginary rehearsal for peak performance in every aspect of your life and in virtually anything man is doing. It lets you feel the freedom that comes from re-writing your past and creating your future.

The Roots of Accelerated Learning

Accelerated Learning owes its existence mainly to Bulgarian doctor Georgie Lozanov, who studies Suggestology in the early 1960s. The existing tensions between East and West make any communication impossible and only in the late '70s foreign researchers get access to Lozanov's works. Today exist two main trends: S.A.L.T. (Society for Accelerated Learning and Teaching) which changed its name into Global Alliance for Learning and Superlearning.

Superlearning

Another form of Suggestology appeared in the early 1980s. This method, called 'Superlearning' was developed by two American journalists that worked with Lozanov: Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schroeder. Superlearning is closely related to S.A.L.T., because it uses relaxation, visualization and synchronized breathing techniques. The main thing separating the two trends is the absence of the teacher in Superlearning. You do it all by yourself! You divide your material in small pieces (each lasting around 4-5 seconds); then, you record them on tape and then listen the tape adding music, in deep relaxation using also synchronized breathing.
